Jason Done Goes Quackers for the Bramhall Park Duc

Jason has decorated a giant rubber duck for The Duck Derby a special charity patron’s race in which his duck will go beak to beak against other patron’s ducks including Antony Cotton, Jodie Prenger and Sara Cox.
The Duck Race and family fun day takes place on Sunday 8th May at Bramhall Park from 12 noon and as well as a variety of duck races, there will be lots of activities to keep families entertained including face painting, bouncy castle, stalls and much more.   
Families can enter a duck in a race for a suggested donation of just £1 and companies can sponsor a giant duck for £25, to find out more contact the charity office on 0161 276 4522 or visit www.rmchcharity.org.uk. Families can also enter a duck in a race on the day at the event.
Some of the races on the day include The Duck Derby , The Sponsors Stake featuring local businesses and other organisations decorated ducks and the charity mascot Humphrey’s Race featuring ducks decorated by the patients at Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital.
Jason said, “Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital charity is a great local cause and the duck race is a really fun event that all the family can enjoy. I hope lots of people attend and raise vital funds for the charity.”
Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital charity is raising money to ensure continued excellence in treatment, care and research at the hospital – improving the lives of children throughout the North West and beyond.
The support of the charity means that the hospital can provide additional resources that make life easier for patients and their families who use the hospital.
The charity has three main areas of work:
•     To support research projects to improve our understanding of children’s illness
•     To help create an environment that’s more child friendly
•     To provide state of the art equipment for diagnosis and treatment
